| 8 x 57mm; 40% blue, poor bore, fair stock, 29 1/2'' barrel, 1916 Danzig Arsenal manufacture. Receiver ring has a crown with Danzig 1916 underneath it. All number matching WWI Mauser 98. Finger-groove forearm with pistol-grip stock. Original blue finish, receiver in the white, mounted in a walnut stock and handguard. Cleaning rod present. Standard Imperial proofs and military acceptance marks. No import markings. The bore has strong rifling however is dark with pitting throughout. Lots of discolorization and light pitting throughout the metal., s/n 54xx |
