| 32 ACP; 87% blue, very good bore, good grips, 3.25'' barrel, Kriegsmarine marked on the left rear trigger guard with the eagle/M III/8 proof. Original blued finish and checkered walnut grips. Matching serial numbers, with the inside of the frame extension and barrel lug stamped with the 3 digits 952, front of the slide electro-penciled 952. Consignor notes state this pistol may have been a "lunch box" gun as it has no external 6 digit number stamped in the normal position across the front lower edge of the grip frame. Eagle/N proofs are located on the right side rear trigger guard and right front edge of the slide. Standard Mauser markings and banner on the left side of the slide. There is not large Navy eagle/swaztika/M on the frame. Late type magazine with the indented front base lip. Metal finish is showing some thinning with scattered light spotting, and an area of pin-prick pitting on the right side front of the slide. Grips show some handling with worn checkering., s/n 9xx |
