| 8mm; 60% blue, very good bore, fair stock, 24'' barrel, German WWII Rare ERMA 27 Code / 1938 Mauser K98K Rifle Erma was a rare contractor who stopped making rifles in 1941 Erma did not make a large number of rifles and this is one of the rare codes to locate. If you collect 98k rifles this is one of the hard one to get and you should not pass it up. The front sight is a ramped blade and the rear is a tangent graduated to 2000 meters. The top of the chamber is stamped 27 / 1938 and the left side of the receiver has Mod 98. The barrel and receiver both have the S/N 7702 N, the bolt is not number matching. The barrel & receiver on the left side each have an Eagle insp proof. And the right side of the receiver has three Eagle insp proofs. The metal finish has muzzle and high edge wear and thinning overall. The stock has numerous handling marks, and a large crack coming of the upper tang. It also has the correct flat steel buttplate., s/n 77xxN |
