Code 337 was basically used for only one year with few rifles made in 1939 and production continued for most of 1940 Majority of 1940 code 337 rifles went straight to eastern front and vanished forever, Rifle has all correct Military acceptance proofs and waffenamts E/221 and “I “on small parts Barrel, receiver, bolt and stock, buttplate are all matching. The bore is in good condition. Overall, this is great looking example of very uncommon code “337” Mauser K98 rifle that survived WWII in good shape, s/n 41xx |
