| 22 Long Rifle; 90% blue, excellent bore, good stock, 27'' barrel, Manufactured in Germany circa 1930s, single shot bolt action rifle with original blue finish and walnut stock. Ramped fixed front sight. Fully adjustable tangent rear sight. Factory grooved receiver. Crown/B, U and G proofs. The metal finish shows some wear and thinning. The stock has been modified on the right side with a notched out area for a side mounted reciever sight, two holes drilled and tapped with plug screws installed. The bolt handle has been modified, turned down and swept back slightly, for scope clearance. The stock has been grooved to accept the bolt handle on the left side and the area above the trigger on the stock has been modified for finger clearance. Mechanically fine, the bore is bright with sharp rifling. C&R/FFL, s/n 1493xx |
