| 7 X 57mm; 85% blue, good bore, good stock, 29'' barrel, Possibly built for a South American contract, Ecuador or Brazil. No particular markings to determine. Original blue finish and walnut stock. Matching except the bolt which is a carbine variation with turned down handle. With cleaning rod and the attached leather sling. The top of the receiver ring is stamped "WAFFENFABRIK/MAUSER A.-G./OBERNDORF" and the left side of the receiver is stamped "MAUSER MOD. 1907". German commerical crown/B, U, and G proofs. Older CAI import, marked on the end of the barrel. Ex-museum display rifle, the left side of the stock has four holes for mounting a plaque or to a wall mount. The wood has many dings and scratches. Mechanically fine. C&R/FFL, s/n 23xx |
