| 9x19mm; 97% blue, very good bore, excellent grips, 4'' barrel, An exceptional condition all matching rig. Original salt blued finish and checkered walnut grips. All matching serial numbers includes both magazines, toggle pin, hold open, grip panels etc. Mauser code "byf" stamped on top of the center toggle, date "41" over the chamber. The right receiver is stamped with two eagle/655 proofs and the eagle/swaztika military acceptance mark. An additional acceptance mark is located on the right side of the barrel. Small eagle/655 proof over the left side of the barrel. P.08 marked left sideframe. The finish on this example is uniform overall including the grip straps. The wear is from holstering, on the sideplate hump edges and front edges of the frame rails. Light sharp edge wear around the toggle housing, stock lug on the rear grip frame, sharp edges on the trigger guard and light edge wear around the muzzle end of the barrel. Slight toggle marks on the rear of the frame. Both magazines are fxo code e/37 proofed blued extruded variations with pinned aluminum bases, matching numbers, the extra magazine marked with the +. An original eagle/655 proofed takedown tool is in the pouch under the holsters flap. The holster is in very good condition, original dark brown leather, with some scuffing, edge and corner wear. Original stitching is clean and tight with no weak areas. The buckle still has quite of bit of the original black paint finish. The holster is marked on the reverse with the code "dta/41", an eagle/WaA195 proof and small "P.08" near the rear belt loop. The pistols bore is bright with sharp rifling, but does have some corrosion mainly at the throat of the chamber. Likely left dirty for years after use with corrosive ammuniton.
