| 9mm; 97% blue, very good bore, good grips, 4'' barrel, MAUSER P.08 CODE 42 DATED 1940 IN VERY GOOD DIP BLUED CONDITION. THIS LUGER IS A RUSSIAN CAPTURE BEARING THE RUSSIAN X (CROSSED RIFLES) MARK ON THE LEFT BARREL EXTENSION OVER THE SERIAL NUMBER. THE BLUING AS DIPPED IS VERY GOOD SHOWING VERY LIGHT HIGH EDGE WEAR. THE BORE IS BRIGHT WITH VERY GOOD RIFLING. THE GRIPS ARE REPRODUCTION WITH A SMALL CHIP OUT OF THE LEFT PANEL BELOW THE SAFETY. THE ALUMINUM BASED MAGAZINE HAS BEEN RENUMBERED TO MATCH AND IS MARKED 2/1001 INDICATING EAST GERMAN OWNERSHIP. THIS IS ONE OF THE NICER RUSSIAN CAPTURE LUGERS TO END UP IN OUR SHOP.
