| 9X19mm; 89% blue, good bore, good grips, 4'' barrel, Early 2nd variation S/42 1937 with original blued finish, blued small parts, and checkered walnut grips. All matching serial numbers except the magazine. The magazine is a blued sheet steel variant with aluminum base, serial numbered 9335m/+ with a drrop eagle/63 proof. Left receiver is stamped with two stick eagle/63 proofs and a droop eagle military acceptance mark. 1937 date over the chamber. S/42 stamped on top of the center toggle. Metal finish is showing high point and edge wear with a handfull of small pits on the left side of the muzzle ring. The right grip panel has some compressions to the checkering. Rig, includes a brown leather holster, maker marked on the front upper edge Neumann Strassburg, with a 1940 dated ink stamp under the flap. Includes an original Imperial proofed wood bottom magazine inside the pouch which is in very good condition, serial numbered 1719/+ with Erfurt proofs at the front and rear of the base. The holsters stitching is intact except for a weak line of stitch on the upper front belt loop, and the holster has good form. Surface leather cracking mainly on the front and flap with edge wear overall. The flap has two small holes where a badge of some sort was once attached., s/n 3xxb, Catalog Number M-200 |
