| 8mm Mauser; 90% blue, poor bore, very good stock, 24'' barrel, Portuguese Mauser and Maker marked from DWM, Berlin. The original chambering was in caliber 6.5mm Vergueiro (M1904) until it saw military refurbishment and updates in 1939 to caliber 8mm Mauser (M1904/39). A quality made long arm with the crest of Portugal's King Carlos I, emblazoned atop the receiver. The furniture has a few dings and scuffs from service and use. Metal finish is blued with light thinning overall. Matching visible serial numbers. The bore shows corrosion., s/n C39xx |
