| 9x57mm; 75% blue, Good bore, fair stock, 26.25'' barrel, Small ring military style action. Marked on left side of barrel near chamber '9X57 Mr P.V B. Blindee' with an un-identified proof 'Crown/R *T/C in a flaming pot. Barrel appears to be a military stepped barrel with a folding 2 leaf rear sight installed. Side scope mount installed with 1" rings. Bolt handle has been altered by extending and bending for scope clearance. Traces of black paint on bolt handle and trigger guard/floorplate. Black painted metal plates added to side of stock. Hairling crack behind upper receiver tang. Marked for 9X57mm however a cartridge was tried and would not chamber? Exact chambering has not been determined and there could be an obstruction in the chamber., s/n 5xx |
