| 6.5x55mm; 70% blue, fair bore, fair stock, 29'' barrel, SWEDISH M1896 MAUSER INFANTRY RIFLE MADE AT MAUSER (OBERNDORF) IN 1900, IN FAIR OVERALL CONDITION. THE BOLT BODY IS MATCHING BUT THE COCKING PIECE AND SHROUD ARE MISMATCHED AS ARE THE BANDS AND BUTTPLATE. THE BLUING SHOWS MODERATE TO HEAVY WEAR OVERALL. THE BORE IS POOR (STOCK DISC INDICATES A #3 BORE) WITH HEAVILY WORN RIFLING AND CORROSION PRESENT. THE MUZZLE IS THREADED AND HAS A NYLON THREAD PROTECTOR. THE STOCK IS SOLID SHOWING NUMEROUS DINGS, SCRATCHES AND COMPRESSION DENTS. THE BARREL BEARS A SAMCO IMPORT MARK. COMES WITH A SLING, s/n 361xx |
