| 12 Ga/6.5x57R; 85% blue, excellent bore, good stock, 25 5/8'' barrel, Manufactured in Germany, dated July 1955. Original blue finish, casehardened frame, mounted in checkered walnut. 2 3/4 inch chamber upper shotgun barrel with an Improved Modified choke. Solid barrel rib with fixed front and rear rifle style sights. Boxlock action with crossbolt and side mounted cocking indicators, extractors, double front set triggers, latch release 3 piece forearm, full grip stock with cheekrest and a 14.25 inch LOP. Weaver type bases have been installed on top of the barrel rib and a B. Nickel Variable 1-4X ES scope mouted. The scope has a German #4 reticle with excellent optics. Used, the barrel rib has a dent on top about 5.5 inches from the muzzle. A clear spacer has been added under the grip cap. There is a minor hairline crack behind the upper tang. Mechanically fine with tight lockup. C&R/FFL, s/n 446xx |
