| 16 GA; 96% blue, very good bore, good stock, 28'' barrel, MERKEL MODEL 8 SXS SHOTGUN IN 16 GAUGE WITH 2 3/4" CHAMBERSMASE IN NOVEMBER 1972 WITH A FOREARM ISSUE. THE FOREARM HAS A LARGE SLIVER OUT OF BOTH SIDES AT THE REAR OF THE FOREARM WITH BOTH PIECES INCLUDED IN AN ATTACHED BAG. THE BLUING ON THE BARRELS SHOWS SOME OXIDATION AND FRECKLES. THE RECEIVER RETAINS APPROX 45% OF ITS CASE COLORS. THE VERY GOOD BORES ARE MIRROR BRIGHT CHOKED FULL/MODIFIED. THE CHECKERED WALNUT BUTTSTOCK SHOWS MODERATE WEAR WITH SOME FINISH BUBBLING IN THE RIGHT SIDE. THE CHECKERED FOREARM IS DESCRIBED ABOVE. IMPORT MARKED., s/n 7316xx |
