| 38 Centerfire; fair bore, very good grips, 5.5'' barrel, Double action with 5-shot cylinder and folding spur hammer. Manufactured c.1880's. Original nickel finish with checkered hard rubber grips. Matching numbers, frame, cylinder and barrel. Round ribbed barrel marked on top in two lines with the Merwin Hulbert & Co address and patent dates 1877, 1880, 1882 and 1883. Caliber designation "38 CAL." stamped on the left side of the frame. Lanyard ring on butt of frame. Nickel finish remains at approximately 98%+, bright, with handling scratches and tiny dings. Includes an extra 3.5 inch barrel in similar condition, serial numbered one number off from the gun. Very good bore. Same two line address and patent dates on top of the rib., s/n 151xx |
