| 38 Caliber; good bore, very good grips, 5.5'' barrel, .38 Caliber center fire double action revolver. Manufactured c.1880's. Original factory nickel finish and checkered hard rubber grips. Matching serial numbers on the barrel and 5-shot cylinder. Folding hammer spur. Stamped on top pof the barrel rib with the Merwin & Hulbert New York address over patent dates 1877, 1880, 1882 and 1883. Retains approximately 97% nickel finish showing light handling scratches. Some fairly minor corrosion at the barrel cone and around the inside of the trigger guard. Lanyard ring on butt of grip frame. Mecanically in fine condition. The bore is a bit frosted. Includes a vintage full flap holster in Very Good condition. This revolver came to us from Finland. Antique, s/n 282xx |
