| 44 Merwin Hulbert; 40% blue, fair bore, very good grips, 7'' barrel, Original blued finish and checkered plastic grips. Matching numbers. Square butt with lanyard ring. Round barrel with fixed sight, marked along the top in a single line "MERWIN HULBERT & CO. NEW YORK. U.S.A." followed by patent dates 1874, 1875, 1876 and 1877. Left side of the barrel marked "HOPKINS & ALLEN MANUFACTURING CO. NORWICH. CONN. U.S.A.". Light patina in areas of finish loss. Action functions fine. Bore has some shine and sharp rifling, corrosion and light pitting throughout. Antique., s/n 81xx |
