| 22 Caliber; 1'' barrel, Tiny handmade black powder muzzle loading pistol with a mahogany stock. About 22 caliber bore, with a 1" long rough textured barrel which seems to be made of lead. Single band holds this together, which is missing a small pin to keep the band in place. Has a tiny brass ramrod inside the end of the stock. Brass spring with pin over the barrel. Assume ignition is by pushing the pin into the hole on top of the barrel, friction causing a spark which ignited the powder. Being lead, the hole is worn and friction is minimal, if this pistol was meant to be operable which I'm doubting. OAL is 2 3/8 inches. |
