| 60 Caliber; 50% blue, fair bore, very good stock, 36'' barrel, Heavy Swiss wall gun Circa-1840-1850. It is a percussion 60 Cal with a rifled bore It has a heavy octagon barrel with a blade front sight and an elevation adjustable rear sight. The It was made by L. Bindschaedler, Menedorf (Zurich) See the book Heer Der Neue Stockel page 102 The metal finish has patina overall. The stock has some cracks, but no wood is missing. It has a brass buttplate and trigger guard, and a brass forearm nose piece. Very good condition., s/n 47 |
