| 9.4mm; 80% blue, very good bore, very good grips, 4.25'' barrel, This is a Dutch M1891 revolver Developed by East Indies Small arms Arsenal All of the M1891 revolvers were issued to the Dutch armed forces and Police deployed in East Indies. Total contract was delivered in three parts and this revolver ser. # 4127 was delivered by Vickers of Birmingham which was given a third part of this contract. Vickers placed manufacturing with different subcontractor and after completion revolvers were inspected but all of them were rejected due to the poor quality of the external finish. The entire contract was reworked by FN It has British and Wilhelmina proofs. And then finally delivered to the East Indies administration. The metal finish muzzle wear and high edge wear overall. It has no corrosion. The checkered grips are in very good condition, with slight wear. It has a lanyard loop on the bottom of the grip frame. The action works well., s/n 41xx |
