| 58 Caliber; very good bore, very good stock, 37.25'' barrel, Made c.1869. Original bright metal and walnut stock. Bridesburg marked lock with Eagel motif and 1863 date. Converted for use with a .58 Caliber centerfire cartridge. Breechblock swings open to right for loading. US marked buttplate tang. The left side stock flat opposite the lock is stamped "IN". Small H inspector mark on the bottom of the grip behind the trigger guard tang. Pinned hammer striker. Dark rust spotting on the metal. The bore has shine and fairly sharp rifling, corrosion appears light. Firing pin is intact and function as it should. Lock function well.
