| 6.5x55mm; 75% blue, fair bore, good stock, 24'' barrel, This is a 1916 dated Norwegian Model 1912 Krag Jorgensen rifle. Non-Numbers matching bolt. The top of the receiver is marked with the Kongsberg Arsenal mark “crown / K” and “1916”. The tangent rear sight is graduated to 2200 meters. Blade front sight. The underside of the rear sight is marked with the last three digits of the serial number “559”. The left side of the barrel band and trigger guard are each marked with the last three digits of the serial number “559”. The magazine cutoff is marked “AA” and “S”. The top of the rear sight base is marked “D”. The stock looks to have been refinished and has a piece of wood missing at the heel. The metal buttplate has surface rust. The reciever has scattered areas of surface rust as well as bluing loss. The bore is dark., |
