| 10 Gauge; excellent bore, good stock, 30'' barrel, Manufactured in 1890. Original browned finish Damascus barrels, casehardened frame, mounted in checkered walnut. 2 7/8 inch chambers. Extractors, double triggers, latch release forearm, pistol grip stock with a 14.25 inch LOP, the original hard rubber buttplate with dogs head present. Single silver bead front sight. Marked on top of the matted barrel rib "PARKER BROS MAKERS. MERIDEN CONN. TWIST". Thin browned finish on the barrels, traces of case color remain on the frame in protected areas. The wood is over all good, the toe of the buttstock has a small chip missing. Mechanically fine and tight. Antique, s/n 597xx |
