| 8 Gauge; fair bore, good stock, 34'' barrel, Manufactured in 1908. Damascus barrels, casehardened frame, mounted in checkered walnut. Marked on top of the barrel rib "PARKER BROS MAKERS. MERIDEN CONN. TWIST.". Boxlock action, extractor, double triggers, Deeley latch forearm with metal tip, semi-grip stock with original hard rubber grip cap and buttplate with dogs head logo. 14 inch LOP, 1.5 inch drop at the comb. The metal has turned mostly patina, trace brown finish on the barrels which show some dark spotting. The frame has some light pitting across the top. The forearm has a small wood patch repair at the tip. Matching serial numbers. Mechanically fine with good barrel lockup. The bores have some rust pitting. C&R/FFL, s/n 1486xx |
