| 8 Gauge; excellent bore, good stock, 34'' barrel, Manufactured in 1892. Original browned finish Damascus barrels, casehardened frame and lockplates, mounted in checkered walnut. Original stock grip cap and checkered hard rubber buttplate with dogs head logo, 14.25 inch LOP. Matted barrel rib marked "PARKER BROS MAKERS. MERIDAN CONN. TWIST.". Matching serial numbers. The metal has some scattered dark spotting, thinning finish on the barrels with even visible grain over all. The frames case color has mostly faded away, the lockplates retain some color. The stock has light handling scratches and small dings. The actions work well and barrel lockup is tight. Clean bores. Antique, s/n 746xx |
