| 12 Gauge; 80% blue, very good bore, good stock, 30'' barrel, Manufactured in 1905. Non-matching parts. Meriden Conn Vulcan Steel marked barrel rib. Casehardened frame has been cleaned. Mounted in checkered walnut, the stock lightly refinished, having a 14.25 inch LOP. Full chokes. Several screws are loose on the frame. A tag attached to the trigger guard reads "need ex. Reamed". The extractor indeed will not allow a 12 gauge shell to be easily inserted and appears to be a non-original part. The barrel rib has been repaired, showing epoxy along the edges and not aligned with the chamber rib. Also missing the front sight bead. The forearm has a few wood filler repairs left unfinished. The stock has repairs to a chip at the toe. The action works fine and barrel lockup is tight. Sold As Is for parts or repair. C&R/FFL, s/n 1305xx |
