This variant sometimes called the Volunteer rifle with checkered wrist and forearm. Blued finish round barrel with fixed front and ladder rear sights. Brass mounted walnut stock with 2 bands. Shows use and handling. Lock functions fine. Corrosion around the bolster and nipple. Tarnished brass parts. Bore is dirty but should clean to at least Good condition. Original ramrod., s/n 69xx |
