| 45-70 Government; 99% blue, excellent+ bore, excellent stock, 27.75'' barrel, Custom built Rolling Block rifle, No.1 action fitted with a half octagon/half round heavy barrel. The top of the barrel is stamped "BUILT BY PAUL J EICHENBERG - GUNSMITH" and stamped with the caliber designation. High arch hammer, centerfire breechbolt with single extractor. Blued finish barrel, case colored action, plain walnut stock. Unmarked folding tang sight, function well. Globe front sight with post insert and level. Bright and sharp bore. Used, having a few scattered minor handling marks on the metal and wood. Previous owner added highlighted setting marks on the tang sight. The front sight is a bit loose and will need attention. The action finctions well., s/n 88xx |
