| 36 BP; 50% blue, fair bore, very good grips, 5.25'' barrel, Plant's Mfg. Co. Front Loading Army Revolver. 5 ¼ " octagon barrel is 36 caliber and has a fair bore with some minor pitting. The top of the barrel is marked, "Plant's Mfg. Co. New Haven CT" and the left side is marked, "Merwin & Bray New-York." The barrel and cylinder are a mix of blue and gray, and thinning. The brass frame has scattered handling mark and dark spots the wood grips are very good. The serial number is 5927 and the action will not cock. ANTIQUE, s/n 59xx |
