Marked on left side of receiver ''CE.W.F.G. STEYR 1886''. Portuguese crest stamped on left side of receiver and buttstock; cartouche stamped on both sides of buttstock. Matching number on barrel, mismatched bolt. the meta; has turned to a dark plum color. The varnished furniture has minor nick, dings, compression dents as well as a large crack on forearm.
