| 12 GA; fair bore, fair stock, 30'' barrel, Made in Belgium ca.1897. Browned damascus barrels with smooth concave rib, bead front sight, rib dollshead has built up solder V notched for rear sight. Casehardened frame and lockplates, worn mostly bright. Walnut forearm, faint worn checkering. Walnut buttstock appears to be an old replacement with worn varnish finish. Original hard rubber buttplate is worn.Lockplates marked with Progess bounding elk logos over "MACHINE MADE BELGIUM". Upper sling swivel base resoldered. Actions function fine. Loose barrel lockup., s/n 420xx |
