| 11mm; fair bore, good grips, 5.5'' barrel, One of the first cartridge handguns adopted by the Prussians. Operation is very similar to the Smith & Wesson No.1-2 revolvers, the barrel hinges upwards for loading with a single action and spur trigger. No finish remains, dark spotting with areas of light pitting. Original walnut grips. Hammer block safety on the upper grip frame. 5-shot cylinder. Numbered parts are matching. Unit marking stamped on the lower back grip strap "12.A.r.2.123.". The hinge screw is s possible replacement. The cylinder catch assembly on the bottom of the frame is missing as is the screw out ejector rod, the end of which is broken off in the hole for the rod. The action not functioning, the hammer does not hold back and cylinder ratchet is missing or broken. Though condition is low, these revolvers are very rarely encountered in the U.S. Antique, s/n 35xx |
