| The steel blade is curved, has a flat wide back and is single edged with just a slight false edge. The saber measures 35 7/8 long with an integral wide fuller 26 1/2 long. The blade has a two line stamp of "P.S. JUSTICE / PHILADA " at the ricasso. The blade is straight and exhibits some dark spotting. The two branch brass guard is in good condition with dark patina. The grips are covered with black bridal leather covered with twisted brass wire around the grip having looseness on a few loops. The brass pommel and hilt all have patina. The iron scabbard is unadorned and has dark patina. The sword mounts are tight and have the original suspension rings |
