| 22 S/L/LR; 60% blue, fair bore, fair stock, 24'' barrel, This rifle was introduced in 1909 and discontinued in 1936. It is a Remington Model 12-C. The front sight is a blade, and the rear is an adjustable V notch. The octagon barrel has muzzle and edge wear, thinning. The receiver and the barrel have scattered patina overall. The barrel has the two-line Remington address and patent info, and .22short, long and long rifle. The S/N is on the bottom of the receiver, and the rear lower tang has Remington / UMC inside of a circle / TRADE MARK. The forearm is worn and has a crack at the nose and the slide mounting screws have been replaced. The buttstock on the right side at the receiver has two ½ in cracks. The bore is dark and worn, s/n RW5556xx |
