| 12.7x44mm R; excellent bore, very good+ stock, 36'' barrel, Remington 1867 rolling block rifle. Barrel finish has completely turned patina, moderate edge wear on the tip, the left side near the receiver is stamped with "16313", the top near the receiver is stamped with "A.v.V J.S" as well as "C" crown proof. Receiver is in good condition with some light oxidation, the top tang is stamped with "Remington's Ilion N.Y. U.S.A Pat. May 3d Nov.16th 1864 April 17th 1989". Stock is in very good + condition, there is a few light scratches/impressions along the bottom, the center of the left side has a brass medallion stamped with "R". Butt plate has some minor oxidation, the top is stamped with "18434"., s/n 163xx |
