| 50 Caliber; 90% blue, poor bore, good stock, 33'' barrel, This is a center fire rolling block manufactured by Remington in 1867. Small blade front sight, V-notch rear sight. Barrel has scattered mild freckling, as does the action with date on the right side and s/n on the left. Bore is corroded. Smooth forend. Smooth straight grip stock has unit marking carved on left side and is fitted with a matching s/n steel buttplate that overhangs in a couple spots. Tang on breech block is broken off. There is a large chip on toe of stock. Antique., s/n 5xx |
