| 12 GA; fair bore, good stock, 30'' barrel, Model 1900 Grade KED, auto ejectors. Produced in 1901. Damascus barrels, casehardened receiver, mounted in checkered walnut. Chambers gauge 2 3/4 inches. Both chokes gauge Improved Modified. Matching serial numbers. Both sides of the receiver are marked "REMINGTON ARMS CO.". Top of the matted barrel rib is marked in a single line "REMINGTON ARMS CO. ILION N.Y. U.S.A.". Patent dates "PAT. OCT. 3OTH 94." stamped twice on the water table. Traces of case color remain on the receiver in the more protected areas with some scattered spotting. The barrels are gray with dark spotting overall. The stock has the original hard rubber buttplate with a 14" LOP. Th right side of the stock behind at the frame has a small chip of wood beginning to raise. Checkering is prominent on the wood. Needs some work mechanically. The lever return is not functioning which I believe causes the ejectors to not function. The actions work fine and barrel lockup is good with assist. The bores have some light corrosion throughout., s/n 3079xx |
