| 300 Savage; 95% blue, excellent bore, excellent stock, 24'' barrel, Built in August 1948. A first year production Remington 722. One of the early guns without a drilled and tapped receiver bridge. The stock has been notched on the left side for a receiver sight, but the sight was removed and filler screws put in. Elevator adjsutable rear sight with a blade front sight. Walnut stock with a aluminum Remington buttplate. The bluing is very nice with only minor marks and ege wear. The stock has small dents and scratches scattered on it. The bottom metal is very nice with a small scratch on the trigger guard. Has not had sling swivel studs installed. The gun has been fired, but well taken care of.Remington |
