| 12 Ga; 95% blue, excellent bore, very good stock, 25 5/16'' barrel, Manufactured in 1974. 2 3/4 inch chambers with a full set of Purbaugh 26 inch Skeet choke barrel inserts for 20 gauge, 28 gauge and 410 gauge and a full set of extractors for each. Blue finish and mounted in checkered walnut. Features seperated barrels with a matted vent rib with white bead front and center bead sights, single trigger with tang mounted safety selector, automatic ejectors, Anson style release forearm and a full grip stock with a Pachmayr vented pad expertly fitted. Length of pull is 14.25 inches. The frame shows finish wear around the bottom and upper edges. The wood has some scattered minor dings. Mechanically fine though a tiny bit of barrel play can be felt in lockup. The trigger guard is loose as well. Includes a heavy duty stainless storage case, felt lined and fitted for the gun and barrel inserts. Also includes a booklet on the Purbaugh story and an edition of Shotgun West with a story on Claude Purbaugh and his shotgun tubes., s/n 268xx |
