| 22 S/L/LR; 85% blue, good bore, very good stock, 24'' barrel, Manufactured between 1931 – 1935 The top of the barrel is marked “REMINGTON ARMS CO. INC. ILION, N.Y. / MADE IN U.S.A. - PATENTS PENDING” and “-MODEL 33”. The left side of the barrel is marked “Remington / REG. U.S. PAT. OFF.” and “22 SHORT, LONG / OR LONG RIFLE”. The barrel has scattered mild patina, the receiver has high edge wear and some mild thinning. It is a Manually Cocked Bolt Action Single Shot Rifle. The front sight is a steel blade dovetailed into the barrel. The rear sight is a “U” notched elevator sight also dovetailed into the barrel. The stock is one-piece hardwood with a pistol grip and a flat smooth steel buttplate. There are few handling marks. The LOP measures 13 1/4” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate., s/n 1454xx |
