| 38 Rimfire; good bore, good grips, 7.5'' barrel, Manufactured c.1873-1888. New Model Navy factory built as a breechloading cartridge revolver. Original nickel finish, brass trigger guard and plain walnut grips. Octagon barrel with fixed sight, marked on the top "PATENTED SEPT. 14. 1858/E. REMINGTON & SONS ILION NEW YORK U.S.A./NEW MODEL". Ejector rod and loading gate. 6-shot cylinder. Revolver retains 90%+ nickel finish, with some flaking around the edge of the muzzle and grip frame edges, areas of thinned finish with some dark spotting. Scattered scratches and small dings. Mechanically in fine condition. Antique., s/n 415xx |
