| 22 LONG RIFLE; poor bore, fair stock, 22.5'' barrel, Mnufactured c.1890-1933. Octagon barrel marked Remington Arms Co Ilion N.Y. Fixed front sight, buckhorn style elevation adjustable rear sight. Metal is rusty with spotting and some pitting. Plain walnut stock is dry and handled but has no major damage. Bore is dark, pitted and rusty. Action functions fine. Complete and original, good candidate for a total refinish and barrel re-line., s/n 1607xx |
