| 7.62x51mm NATO; 85% blue, excellent bore, very good stock, 27.5'' barrel, Remington produced P14 rifle converted for single loading target shooting in England. Enfield marked barrel with "stoved" finish, "D 70 SRM5" stamped on the left side of the chamber with British proofs and export "tons" markings. Globe front sight with an aperture insert. Parker-Hale Mk VII rear target sight with selective aperture. Receiver finish has thinned with legible original proofs on the left side of the ring. Mounted in a beechwood target stock with full pistol grip and right hand cheekrest. Adjustable buttplate. Target swivel under the forend, with two holes from relocation of the swivel. The bolt is not numbered, the top of the handle has been ground smooth and stamped with a crown/BNP proof over "19T". Tiny NA import mark over the right side of the barrel chamber. The bore is bright and sharp. The rifle shows some external handling wear., s/n RE220xx |
