| 45 ACP; excellent bore, excellent grips, 5'' barrel, Remington Rand mfr frame and slide with a post war Colt replacement barrel. Barrel has parkerized finish, boxed C and P firing proof on the link mount. Slide is marked with the 3rd type Remington Rand legend on the left side. The frame is stamped on the left side "FJA" with the P proof behind the magazine release. The right side of stamped "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" over the serial number and "M1911 A1 U.S. ARMY". Right side of the trigger guard is marked with an M and D. The Ordnance Wheel escutcheon is visible behind the grip panel on the right side of the frame. Re-parkerized finish with proper Remington checkered brown plastic grips. No rebuild markings found. Not import marked. Finish on the slide shows some sharp edge and cycling wear., s/n 13829xx |
