| 43 SPANISH; 90% blue, excellent bore, very good stock, 35'' barrel, Famous Remington Rolling Block rifle with original blued finish barrel, casehardened receiver, and mounted in a walnut stock and forend. Military style sights, fixed front and ladder rear sight. Blued trigger with high curved hammer spur, blued breechblock with upward protruding thumb piece. Three barrel bands, sling swivels and original cleaning rod. Upper tang is stamped in three lines with the Remington address and patent dates. The stock is hand stamped on the bottom near the sling swivel base with the number "18" and this number appears again on the left side of the stock butt. On top of the stock heel is stamped "105" with a "O" near the buttplate extension. The right side of the stock is stamped "1/119". Condition: the blue finish on the barrel remains bright with some scattered spotting. The case color on the receiver is fading but mostly visible overall. The stock has scattered small dings and there is a small sliver of wood missing on the right side upper edge of the forend near the tip. Mechanically in fine condition with a bright bore., s/n 36xx |
