| 16 Gauge; 95% blue, fair bore, very good + stock, 26'' barrel, This Roper shotgun was manufacture circa 1866 in Amherst MA. The metal condition is 95% blue, but is dull with light patina. ( Needs cleaning) The bore is rusty. All known examples of the model have a threaded barrel for detachable choke. The stock is solid with most of the original finish. It is missing the top cover or loading gate. Will not cock. No rust or pitting. It's patented 1866 and is a very rare shotgun From the JMD Museum. NON OPERATIONAL. ANTIQUE, s/n 4xx |
