| 257 ACKLEY IMP; 97% blue, excellent bore, very good+ stock, 25 1/2'' barrel, Ruger No. 3 rebarreled and chambered for the .257 Ackley Improved cartridge. The .257 Ackley Improved is the .257 Roberts with less body taper and a 40 degree shoulder. Factory .257 Roberts can be fired in it. Stainless steel barrel. The barrel is stamped on the left side near the reciever with "P.O. Ackley by D. Bellm. S.L.C., UT .257 IMP. The orginal walnut stock and forend show small marks with the stock having the most at the heel. Includes Buehler two-poieces bases and rings. The bluing on the reciever is very nice with only a couple small spots of wear., s/n 130-552xx |
