| 10.75mm; 65% blue, very good bore, fair stock, 32.8'' barrel, SCARCE RUSSIAN BERDAN II 1885r INFANTRY RIFLE IN ANTIQUE FAIR CONDITION. THE BARREL BEARS CYRILLAC MARKINGS SOME OF WHICH ARE OBSCURED. THE BLUING SHOWS HEAVY FINISH LOSS ON THE TRIGGER GUARD AND BANDS. THE BORE IS BRIGHT WITH VERY GOOD RIFLING ALONG WITH SOME LIGHT OXIDATION PRESENT. THE STOCK IS SOLID SHOWING NUMEROUS DINGS, SCRATCHES AND COMPRESSION DENTS. THE RIGHT BUTT BEARS AN UNREADABLE FAINT CARTOUCHE. THE CLEANING ROD IS MISSING. THESE WERE ISSUED PRIOR TO THE ADAPTION OF THE M1891 MOSIN RIFLE., s/n 157xx |
