THE RIFLE HAS THE OLDER HEX RECEIVER SO IT WAS LIKELY REBUILT AND REBARRELED AT TULA DURING THE WAR. THE BLUING IS A VERY GOOD ARSENAL BLUE. THE BORE IS BRIGHT WITH EXCELLENT RIFLING.
