THE ORIGINAL RUSSIAN SERIAL NUMBER IS KE8 AND IS MATCHING AS SUCH. WE HOWEVER ARE USING THE IMPORTERS APPLIED SERIAL NUMBER OF M42818. THE BLUING IS EVEN THROUGH OUT. THE BORE IS MIRROR BRIGHT WITH EXCELLENT RIFLING. THE STOCK IS VERY GOOD SHOWING A FEW LIGHT DINGS AND HANDLING MARKS. THE BARREL BEARS AN IMPORT STAMP. THIS IS A VERY NICE M44 CARBINE., s/n M428xx |
